The brotherhood was founded in 1999 and currently has nearly 40 members. It brings together people of various professions and ages. We are located within the walls of the 14th century castle. Our activity and name refer to the history of the Teutonic Order in the late Middle Ages – inextricably linked with the history of the land of Nidzica. We spread knowledge about life and culture of the Middle Ages and organize live history lessons for visitors to the Nidzica castle. In meetings with the audience, we will not only discuss the components of knightly equipment and cards from the history of the period, we will also focus on practice – for those who are sensation-seeking, we offer a show of knight fights. We fight using one-handed swords, cleavers, maces and axes. In addition to majestic duels, we also organize brutal group clashes.<\/p>\n
