Malbork is known all over the world for its huge Teutonic castle. The siege of Malbork is a historical reenactment of one of the greatest battles of the Middle Ages for the Malbork castle, referring to the events of 1410, when the Polish-Lithuanian army of King W\u0142adys\u0142aw Jagie\u0142\u0142o unsuccessfully besieged the stronghold after the march from Grunwald. The event takes place in July, one week after the Staging of the Battle of Grunwald. At that time, knights, craftsmen and artists come to Malbork to bring the history and culture of the Middle Ages closer to tens of thousands of viewers. Every year, the Castle Museum and the Malbork City Hall prepare new attractions for the participants, increasing the importance of the event. In 2021, the organization of the staging was canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions on mass events.<\/p>\n
