Every year Pezinok (it’s located 20 km south west to Bratislava) vintage is a celebration of the grape harvest and a tribute to the high-grade wine grown and produced by winemakers and vintners on the Little Carpathian hillsides. The renewed tradition of organising the Pezinok grape harvest festivities began almost 80 years ago. Traditional vendabe feasts are primarily a celebration of the work of local winemakers, vintners and also products they produce – grapes and wines. The festival contains various folklore events that are connected to wine.
