Keleti Gyepű was founded in 2004 and refers to historical traditions whose goal is to preserve and revive the traditions of the Arpad dynasty (the first Hungarian national dynasty). The re-enactment group organizes a series of meetings and events in order not only to spread the culture of the region, but also to develop qualities and attitudes such as physical endurance, self-discipline, ethical behavior, and building social community. There are archers from the regions: Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg, Hajdú-Bihar and Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén in the group.
