The festival has a regional and cross-border character. Every year, partner settlements from Romania and Ukraine take part in it. It is well known that Nagyecsed has had the richest history and culture and ethnographic monuments in the entire region. The goal of the settlement, together with civil organizations, associations and local government institutions, is to create educational and tourist cycles attractive to visitors. There are also plans to revive parts of the moor, the presentation of its fauna as well as showing of the life in the old days and the work of ancient crafts. During the festival, visitors will be able to taste delicacies of local cuisine and learn about local folk traditions.
