Weaving Company (PASZABI SZÖTTTES BT.)

The tradition of weaving began with the regulation of the Cisa River, then each family produced its own clothing and underwear used in the household. Hemp fibers were bleached on the spot and became the raw material suitable for weaving. Gradually, weaving traditions were born. Organized aid programs for the local population laid the foundation for the PASZABI SZŐTTES brand. The brand is characterized by typical textile colors: red-black or red-blue patterns are present on a white or raw base. Later, raw and white also appeared, which has been still very popular till today due to its simplicity. The patterns are in the shape of flowers, such as peony, carnation, tulip, lily of the valley, pansy, apple blossom, rose, geometric and figural patterns are also present.
