Project no PR/1/008/2018 ‘Tourism beyond the boundaries – tourism routes of the cross-border regions of Russia and North-East Poland’

The aim of this project is to improve the efficiency of cooperation between  Beneficiaries from  the Kaliningrad Region and North-East Poland for the sake of preserving and promoting the shared historical, cultural and natural heritage of north-eastern Poland and Kaliningrad Region of the Russian Federation.

Main activities:

  1. preparation and publication of printed materials presenting Polish-Russian tourist products (‘Take a break in historic buildings, ‘On the First World War Trail,‘On the Trail of the Castles and the Fortifications’, ‘On the Trail of Outstanding Historic Personages: Copernicus and Kant’);
  2. a study tour for journalists and bloggers along tourist router (e.g. Castles Trail, N. Copernicus Trail, I. Kant Trail, the Great Masurian Lakes, the World War One Trail, Amber Trail, Fortification Trail;
  3. making information boards ‘On the Trail of the Castles and the Fortifications’ in Poland;
  4. a game for tourists: Nicolas Copernicus, Immanuel Kant;
  5. meetings of employees engaged in the culture and tourism industries;
  6. mobile application

Total value of the project:  201 136,00 EUR (90% of total eligible cost is financed from the Programme)

Project duration: September 2019 – August 2021
